In our more than 20 years of web development experience, projects tend to perform best when 2-3 individuals are engaged at the credit union during the design and build process. Adding more staff, or third-party marketing firms, tends to increase costs and delay timelines. While valuable to some clients, third-party marketing firms are often unfamiliar with credit union processes, capabilities and especially regulations. In addition, third-party marketing firms request updates or changes to the website that may incur substantial costs without clearing these charges with the credit union first.
Therefore, clients engaging in new website designs with the involvement of a third-party marketing firm will incur additional fees. A one-time fee is required to facilitate the coordination and communication with third-party marketing firms. This charge covers the additional resources and administrative efforts needed to ensure smooth collaboration and effective service management.
