CU*BASE Member in Good Standing (Deposit Holds) Consulting and Configuration

$1,000.00 / one time fee

It is important to position your credit union to protect yourself from any risk associated with member deposits. Most commonly, credit unions are interested in creating risk tolerances for deposits made electronically (ATM, ITM, or RDC), and that is exactly what we will discuss in this engagement in addition to the options available for managing deposit holds for deposits made at the teller line.  Whether you are just getting started with ITMs, or you may just have an interest in learning more about the Deposit Hold configuration options that exist, in CU*BASE, the Earnings Edge team will help you to find a solution that works best for your team and protects your credit union.

With this consult, we will first start by setting a meeting to discuss your goals and your challenges. We will then review existing Deposit Hold configurations and we will then demonstrate and discuss the deposit hold configurations that exist in CU*BASE. We will be primarily focusing our discussions on the CU*BASE tools listed below.

  • Automated Holds Configuration (Tool #849)
  • Electronic Deposit Hold Group Configuration (Tool #355)
  • Member in Good Standing Configuration (Tool #499)

In addition to the tools above, we will also include any reference to the CU*BASE Marketing Clubs or CU*BASE Tiered Services program, should those options be of interest to your credit union for managing deposit holds.

Once we have discussed and consulted with your credit union on the options that are available, and your credit union has selected a desired approach, the Earnings Edge team will configure the necessary deposit hold configurations in CU*BASE for staff and insiders to begin testing the configurations before any launch of the tools to your membership. Should your credit union choose to offer the Member in Good Standing program to your membership, we will also assist in identifying how many members would qualify for the member in good standing deposit holds, to ensure that the toolkit is meeting your expectations.
