Launch ANR/Courtesy Pay Program

$2,500.00

Similar to the existing non-return or “force pay” feature available in share draft exception processing, the CU*BASE Auto Non-Return (ANR) feature allows your credit union to configure a program where member balances can automatically be processed to a negative amount, saving members the embarrassment and hassle of returned checks, with corresponding fees and fee limits that offset credit union costs and increase your return.

Let us help you configure all the necessary details for your Courtesy Pay/ANR program. This includes consulting/configuration services with the implementation of an ANR/Courtesy Pay program.  If you choose to hire us to help you with the configurations, this includes:

  • Overall review/demo of CU*BASE ANR/Courtesy Pay program.
    • If you are already familiar with the toolkit and wish to skip this session, we can do so.
  • Review of the ANR/Courtesy Pay Activation, Deactivation and Reactivation configurations for all checking products.
  • Review of the ANR/Courtesy Pay values to be assigned to members for all checking products.
  • Review of Overdraft/NSF/ANR/Courtesy Pay Configurations (Tool #558) for all checking products.
  • Review of ANR/Courtesy Pay/Negative Balance Notice configurations and Negative Balance comment.
  • Review/discuss the configuration of the 1st Date Negative options in CU*BASE.
  • Review/Discuss the CU*BASE Reg. E software and discuss plans for opting members in/out.
  • Review of front-line/teller configurations for the CU*BASE ANR/Courtesy Pay program.
  • Review/Discussion on daily reports generated from CU*BASE that provide information on your ANR/Courtesy Pay program.
  • Review/Discuss the NSF/ANR stats on member statements and best practices.
  • Review/Discuss the CU*BASE Negative Balance Limit (ANR) Calculator.
  • Review/Discuss the CU*BASE options available for managing negative balances and collecting on negative balance accounts.

During this process we will work with your team to set up test accounts to go through the ANR process before the effective date so you can see how the process will work.  The process works to get your procedures for your members set and any questions/concerns before it is live to members.  We will meet with the CU 2-4  times throughout the process until you are comfortable with the process.
